Evaluation of sanitary and veterinary inspection results of slaughtered sheep in Poland in 2017-2019

The aim of this study was to follow and evaluate the sanitary veterinary inspection results slaughtered sheep in Poland period 2017-2019. More than 175,000 were during period. Post-mortem revealed symptoms and/or lesions 19,799 animals, which constituted 11.30% all examined sheep. Of these, 134 animals (0.08%) considered unfit for consumption. most numerous cases with foci pus, contamination congestion (5.07%) fasciolosis (4.72%). highest number carcasses found Ma?opolskie Podlaskie voivodeships. Most deemed consumption Podkarpackie (30), ?wi?tokrzyskie (29) (23) voivodeships, accounting over 61% disqualified 2017-2019 Poland.
